OUR STORY

This is not a place we created for travelers.
This is the place we call home.
YUKIGUNI TERROIR invites you into the landscapes, traditions, food, and everyday life shaped by snow.
WHERE WE LIVE

Life shaped by snow.

In Yukiguni, deep snow nourishes the mountains, creates pure water, and sustains the land, its food, and the lives of the people who call this region home.

OUR BEGINNING

We wanted to share
the Yukiguni we know.

We grew up surrounded by snow, mountains, water, seasonal food, and people who have carried local knowledge for generations.

To us, these things were simply part of everyday life.

YUKIGUNI TERROIR began with a simple idea: rather than creating something new for visitors, what if we invited them into the Yukiguni that already exists?

YUKIGUNI TERROIR

Everything begins with the land.

Terroir is more than a word. It’s the connection between snow, water, land, food, and people—shaping a unique culture and way of life in Yukiguni.

THE CIRCLE

Join the circle.

Not a tourist.
Not quite a local.
Something in between.

By seeing, learning, doing, and sharing a meal together, you become part of the circle—a deeper connection with Yukiguni and the people who live here.
